The 2018 Australian Sheep and Wool Show

The 2018 Australian Sheep and Wool Show

Dubbed the ‘biggest show of its type in the world’, the Australian Sheep and Wool Show held on the 20th July lived up to its billing as thousands flocked to Bendigo’s Prince of Wales Showgrounds. More 30,000+ people attended the show including 5000 farmers plus 350 stallholders.

Ecocharger was one of those stall holders and exhibited the 4WD Eliminator electric quad bike for the first time. It was a successful three days and having the quad bike on display certainly generated a lot of interest in the features and benefits of using an electronic bike on a farm. Ecocharger representative Jordan Marchioni said:

“The bike got a lot of attention and it was a great educational exercise for the farmers in attendance. I was able to talk through the features of an electronic bike compared to diesel and petrol quads and get the message out there that the Ecocharger can save money on fuel costs and that the bike is so quiet it doesn’t disturb the livestock.

I felt there was a shift in perception about electric bikes by the end of the three days and we were pleased we could educate people about this exciting new technology and superior alternative to petrol bikes”.

If you are a farmer looking for a cost saving, noise free, environmentally friendly alternative with added safety features not achievable by your current petrol quad bike please contact Ecocharger on 03 8645 8300 for further details.
